Social Services

The Town of Andover Social Services Department assesses the needs of Andover residents and connects them with appropriate resources, information, and referrals to help them access the services they require.

The department provides information on various regional, state, and federal programs, including Medicare and Medicaid for healthcare coverage, SNAP (Food Stamps) for nutrition assistance, HUSKY Health insurance for children, and Energy Assistance to help with utility costs.

The department also directly assists residents with applying for the State’s Renters’ Rebate Program, and supports families in need during the holiday season through the Wishing Tree and Toy Drive programs.

The Town of Andover collaborates with the Access Agency, Andover Food Pantry, AHM Youth and Family Services, Norton Commission and other local and state organizations to ensure residents have access to a comprehensive range of services. All services are provided confidentially.
