AFoL Gazebo Concert #1

Featuring 2 CT State Troubadours: Kala Farnham & Hugh Blumenfeld!
Kala Hugh
Event Date:
Friday, July 21, 2023 - 6:30pm to 8:30pm

The Andover Friends of the Library present the first of two wonderful Gazebo shows this summer with performances from two Connecticut State Troubadours!  Join us at the Andover Gazebo (located at 35 School Road, between the Andover Town Hall and the Andover Elementary School).  6:30PM is the start time.

Kala Farnham is the current CT State Troubadour and is a singer/songwriter in the folk tradition from eastern CT.  She'll present a hallmark reinvention of the folk tradition.

Between 1999-2000, Andover's own Hugh Blumenfeld served as the CT State Troubadour.  He and his band, Faithful Sky, will share Hugh's original songs that are full of poetry and passion.

We are delighted to host both of these excellent performers!

The Andover Friends of the Library will be selling pizza, ice cream, and soda/water at the event.  In the event of rain, the show will be held inside the nearby Andover Town Hall Community Room.  New for 2023, there is a large tent set up in front of the gazebo, so attendees can set their chairs up under the big tent.  Best of all, this is a FREE event, so invite your friends and neighbors and join us at the gazebo!!
