Charter Revision Commission
On April 8th 2024, the Andover Board of Selectmen voted to initiate a Charter Revision Commission to be appointed by the Board at a special meeting on May 7th, 2024.
The Board will likely expect the Commission to complete its draft report by July of this year, and a final report by early September to better ensure that the process will result in a vote on the November State election ballot.
No more than one third of the members may hold other public office in the town. No more than a bare majority may be registered with one political party.
