Join us at the Andover Public Library on Wednesday, July 29th at 6:30PM as we welcome CT historian and educator, Richard Franklin Donohue with his program, "History to Legend to Myth: Remembering the Revolution in Connecticut."

Situated between Massachusetts & New York, both hotbeds of activity during the American Revolution, Connecticut’s role in the war is often overlooked. Using the state’s memorials, statues, and landmarks as touchstones, Richard Franklin Donohue will explore the ways in which the people of Connecticut participated in the movement towards independence and how these events have been remembered for 250 years. This 40-minute program includes a lecture & PowerPoint, and is sure to be both entertaining AND educational.
