Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Commission
The Andover Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Commission invites volunteers to fill three vacancies for alternate members. The Commission plays a vital role in land use decisions by reviewing applications for regulated activities and overseeing enforcement of wetlands regulations. Anyone interested in serving should contact either the Commission Chairman at iwwcchair@andoverct.org or the Wetlands Agent at wetlands@andoverct.org.
The commission is charged by Connecticut General Statutes, §22a-45 to regulate activities in or near wetlands and/or watercourses in the Town of Andover.
Five members appointed by the Board of Selectmen who shall serve two year terms.
