Dear Andover Residents,

The Andover Conservation Commission is excited to extend an invitation to you for an informative session on the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP). Join us at the Town Hall on Wednesday February 28, 2024, at 7:00 PM. This program run by the US Department of Agriculture Natural Resource Conservation Service is designed to provide financial and conservation incentives for the effective management of your forest land.

Forests play a crucial role in maintaining ecological balance, and EQIP offers valuable resources and support to help you make the most of your forested property. Whether you're a seasoned landowner or someone new to the world of forestry, this session aims to empower you with knowledge about available programs that can enhance both the health of your forest and your financial well-being.

During the information session, you can expect to:

1. Gain insights into EQIP and its benefits.
2. Learn about financial assistance opportunities for forest land management.
3. Understand conservation incentives that contribute to the long-term health of your forest.
4. Get answers to any questions you may have about participating in EQIP.

We will guide you through the various aspects of EQIP, ensuring that you leave with a comprehensive understanding of how these programs can positively impact your forest land.

Your presence is crucial to making this session a success, and we encourage you to bring any fellow residents who may be interested in learning more about EQIP and have at least 10 acres of forest land. Together, we can build a stronger, more sustainable community.
