On May 18, 2024, the Andover Veterans Meeting will be a field trip to the Danbury War Memorial Park for the Dedication Ceremony of the 1st Afghanistan and Iraq War Veterans War Memorial. The ceremony starts at 12pm. Transportation is arranged with the Town Senior Transportation for those who would like a ride. We will leave the Town Hall at 10:00am. We will stop for lunch prior to returning home to Andover. Explicit details regarding the length of the event are not yet available. We will provide an update once they are published. Those who prefer to drive on their own can convoy with the Town transportation. If not, the address of the event is 1 Memorial Drive, Danbury, CT 06810. Contact Carol Lee at the Town Clerk Office to reserve your spot on the bus or to let us know if you would like to convoy so we can make sure we wait for you.

Stop by for a visit at the NEW Agent Orange Monument and Veterans Memory Walkway at Veterans Monument Park!
The park is located on the corner of Route 6 and Route 316 (Agent Orange Memorial Hwy) in Andover, CT at 1 Monument Lane.
